Nancy was raised in the metropolitan New York area and now lives in Maryland. She was a member of the trio Venus Rising - recipient of the 1997 Washington Area Musicians Association award for Best New Artist as well as nominations for Best Contemporary Folk Group and Best Debut Recording.
Nancy’s new CD, Be My Mirror, combines sophisticated pop, contemporary folk, rock, and rhythm & blues. Poetic yet direct lyrics, beautiful vocals, and fine instrumental work make Be My Mirror an exceptional solo debut recording.
